LET'S TALK ABOUT RESULTS

Friday was the 26th consecutive day that I have curtailed my calorie count to the neighborhood of 1000. Well, here's the deal... If one can consume such a low calorie count for nearly three weeks. WEIGHT WILL BE LOST. IT WILL DISAPPEAR.



Saturday has been traditionally been the day that I weigh myself and I am going to return to that schedule.  

My weight today is 260.7 lbs

I have dropped 22.9 pounds in 26 days.
Twenty-six days ago I had ballooned all the way up to a staggeringly high 283.6 lbs
For the past twenty-six days I have dropped not quite a pound a day.... but close to it...

I feel great.
I am still quite overweight (just less so)
I am going to continue with my aggressive determination.
I have a lot of clothing in my closet that I would like to get re-acquainted with.
It is very hard to outgrow short-sleeve button down shirts - but I had done that.
Now I have them all back.
I have some pants and bluejeans that I would like to recover, that will take a bit longer, but even that has begun....

Day 17

On Wednesday I woke up, wide awake, at 2AM after settling in at 10PM the night before. For one hour I restlessly tried to get back asleep, but I was already 'woke.' (that word is an homage to extremely low-IQ US Congressperson Maxine Waters and her instruction to "Stay Woke")  I worked on my business facebook page for a couple of hours and at 5AM, I decided to put some steps on the 'scoreboard' with a 3 mile pre-sunrise walk. I was sore for a couple of days after my 10 mile jaunt on Sunday. Wednesday morning, I felt great. I extended my 3 mile =walk to a six mile walk. Great way to start a day, 10,000 steps already 'in the bank' before breakfast.

Day 15

At some point, I am going to stop counting days.
Today is not the day to stop counting days.
Monday was the fifteenth consecutive days that my calorie count was in the neighborhood of 1000.
This is stupefying to me....
Just three weeks ago, I stopped at a White Castle and ordered 10 cheeseburgers. And it was't the first time.
How could the same guy who could have 10 White Castle cheeseburgers be the same guy who could keep up a streak of 1000 calories per day?
Here's the answer: I don't know.

Yep, I ordered 10 of these, just a few weeks ago... and that was only dinner. Odds are that I had a similarly healthy meal for breakfast and lunch. It kind of takes the mystery out of trying to explain why I had been rapidly gaining weight recently.
