SUPPOSE THEY SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT AND NOBODY CARED

Well, the anti-American Democratic Party with a handful of equally moronic Republicans have shut down the government in favor of DACA, the so-called Dreamers who are here illegally. The 44th President who was not a fan of the United States Constitution, did not like the messiness of passing actual laws. He enjoyed using his pen to sign executive orders. As part of a budget deal the Dumocrats insist on language that will finally legalize DACA (Deferred Acton for Childhood Arrivals). This is completely orchestrated, the Dumocrats just wanted to make the President and the Republican Congress look bad. Will it work? It might. The Dumocrats own the media. Surely the media is painting this government shutdown as some kind of disaster. It is not good that while the government shutdown is in effect, the military are not being paid. That is very bad and very evil. Why do the Congressmen and Senators get paid during this period? Aren't they non-essential? In fact, I can barely think of any group of people more non-essential than these clowns. The truth is, most Americans probably don't even know that we are currently in 'shutdown' mode and many more who do know, like me, probably don't care too much. I know that this shutdown is very thrilling to the anti-trumpers at ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and The New York Times, but they may be miscalculating just how much real people, actual voters, real Americans care about this. I should amend my comments. I do care. And I place the blame squarely on the un-American, un-patriotic, US Constitution-hating Democrats that infest the Congress. There is a lot more swamp draining that needs to be done.

Really, no one cares too much.
The Democrats will orchestrate the shutdown if they are convinced that ALL the blame will fall to the Republicans. That shouldn't be too hard as the Media IS the democratic party.

All this makes it more amazing that Trump was elected, and that he is doing a great job.

It's been a tough week for the Democrats, this was the week that they learned that Trump is in good health and not likely to keel over from a heart attack any time soon. It's the same week that they learned that more and more companies are giving bonuses to their workers as a result of the new tax policy passed by the Republicans. It's the same week that they learned that Apple Computer is planning on repatriating BILLIONS of dollars into the country and paying BILLIONS of dollars in taxes to the US Treasury. It's the same week that they learned that new jobless claims are the lowest in nearly 50 years. Yep, it's been a complete DISASTER for the America-hating, self-hating, hateful Democrats that infest the Congress and media. You are probably wondering how I really feel. I don't like them.

...Hollywood mogul, Harvey Weinstein, was just today fired from his own company. As his cretinous lifestyle of abusing women has come to light. This guys' friends are are a Who's Who of Liberal Lefty loons. It's weird how everyone was silent about this little bit of news over the weekend... Apparently Saturday Night Live found nothing worthy of note to share with its audience. It appears that the lame late night 'comics' were afraid to touch this story since this story first came to light last Thursday. What weasels!

Harvey Weinstein officially fired from The Weinstein Company

Harvey Weinstein has officially been ousted from his own company.

In the wake of a blistering New York Times report that detailed nearly 30 years of his sexual misconduct, the embattled TV producer has been "terminated, effective immediately" from The Weinstein Company.

Weinstein Company representative Nicole Quenqua sent a statement Sunday to USA TODAY from The Weinstein Company's board of representatives: "In light of new information about misconduct by Harvey Weinstein that has emerged in the past few days, the directors of The Weinstein Company — Robert Weinstein, Lance Maerov, Richard Koenigsberg and Tarak Ben Ammar — have determined, and have informed Harvey Weinstein, that his employment with The Weinstein Company is terminated, effective immediately."

Weinstein began his "indefinite" leave of absence last Friday as The Weinstein Company board ran a "thorough" investigation into the sexual allegations made against its co-founder.

Does the United States Senate overstate their importance? A proposed rule change which will allow the Supreme Court nominee to be appointed without the customary 60 votes is said to be the nuclear option.  Here's why this is great for conservatives. Sometimes the Senate will be in the hands of the liberal Democrats and sometimes, as now the Senate will be in the hands of the Republicans. Republicans always play nice and although they tend to disagree with the politics of the liberal hacks that they must approve - they don't fight the President and they (mostly) vote to approve. Right now the Democrats are making noises that they will not play nice with President Trump's nominee and vote for Gorsuch. Great. Fantastic. No Problem. In the future, the Republicans can nominate the most conservative person they can find, and the Democrats won't be able to stop them. On the other hand, the Democrats will never be able to nominate someone more left than someone like Justice Sotomayor - because such a person doesn't exist. If they supported Raul Castro for the Supreme Court (putting aside for the moment that he is a Cuban citizen), how would his rulings differ from the four Democrat hacks that already vote left on every issue? I'll give you as much time as you need to ponder this...   Go Nuclear.

I spent just one day in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and before I left to scoot back into Ohio, I visited Frick Park and finally took an actually hike in actual woods and while on my hike I saw an actual deer. I don't run into deer too often during my 'urban hikes' in Chicago. It was good to be back on a true wooded path. My fitbit recorded that as part of my hike I climbed the equivalent of 124 floors. There was a lot of ups and downs during my eight mile trek.
