THIS DRAGON IS THAT DRAGON

After the thrills of hiking Turkey Run State Park on Friday, it was back to a normal hum drum urban hike in my own Chicago neighborhood on Saturday. I mostly walked in a north and south direction through Lincoln Park. I passed the metal dragon (serpent?) that has been in the park for many years. Back in the old days, the wire outline of this dragon were used to make the dragon green.
Here is my daughter at the age of three admiring this dragon more than ten years ago.
This is the 'skeleton' of the same dragon. It appears that this dragons' best days may be behind it.

Picture perfect day in Chicago. It appeared that EVERYONE in the city was out and about enjoying the day.

There is a question I ask myself: When did 10 miles become the minimum length of my urban hikes?  My urban hike yesterday was eleven miles.
