After the thrills of hiking Turkey Run State Park on Friday, it was back to a normal hum drum urban hike in my own Chicago neighborhood on Saturday. I mostly walked in a north and south direction through Lincoln Park. I passed the metal dragon (serpent?) that has been in the park for many years. Back in the old days, the wire outline of this dragon were used to make the dragon green.

There is a question I ask myself: When did 10 miles become the minimum length of my urban hikes? My urban hike yesterday was eleven miles. |
