ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

Another one bites the dust. Is it just me, or does is seem like every day another lefty liberal icon is leaving the national stage under a cloud of some degree of sexual harassment?  I must admit, I am not exactly heartbroken over the plight of any of these guys. They are not the victims.

Would you like to know what a sanctimonious schmuck looks like? This should do it. It is a photograph of sanctimonious schmuck Matt Lauer interviewing Bill O'Reilly after O'Reilly was fired by Fox News for some various cases of sexual harassment which were settled with big cash payouts to a handful of women. I am not defending O'Reilly. But what gave Lauer the right to grill Bill?

from variety.com
In September, Lauer asked the former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly if he’d ever sent lewd text messages to colleagues. “Think about those … women and what they did,” Lauer said. “They came forward and filed complaints against the biggest star at the network they worked at. Think about how intimidating that must have been. Doesn’t that tell you how strongly they felt about you?”

Would you like to see a photograph of a woman who has no idea how much danger she's in. This should do it. It is a photograph of Katie Holmes flanked by formerly respected, politically influential, Harvey Weinstein and the former King of Morning TV, Matt Lauer.

Would you like to see a photograph of two people sharing trade secrets? This should do it. "What, you mean you don't have a secret button under your desk to lock your door and keep your object of your affection trapped?"

.
Would you like to see a photograph that is just disturbing? This should do it. I don't care what Matt Lauer does in the own time (OK, just kidding, This was from Halloween 2013) I just felt like sharing it today.

BILL MAZEROSKI

The 'fallout' from the shocking (happily shocking) election result in the United States less than two weeks ago continues. The 'tolerant' (actually intolerant) lefty liberal progressive nut-jobs are going absolutely bonkers. An American comedian, Dennis Miller, summed it up nicely last night on The O'Reilly Factor on Fox News.

"I didn't know that it would be this delish [delicious]. Every day as I watch them unfold on the left, it's like Bill Mazeroski hits his homer in the 9th inning like ten times per day. It's beautiful."

from wikipedia...
In the 1960 World Series, Mazeroski won the title for Pittsburgh in Game 7 with a game-winning home run off New York Yankees pitcher Ralph Terry in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Yankees had rallied with two runs to tie the game, 9-9, in the top of the inning, setting up Mazeroski's heroics.

Now it is clear from this quote, that in order to get its true meaning, one has to know that Dennis Miller apparently was rooting against the Yankees. So, if one understands that, then I must admit that I am in complete agreement with Dennis Miller. The more the loony liberal lefty nut-jobs act out, freak out and otherwise sense the end of the world - the happier I am each an every day. Like Miller, I thought it would be good, but it is better than good. It's Great!

Yesterday included lots of travel. I started my day in Cincinnati and drove to Archbold, Ohio to visit a quilt shop in Sauder Village for the first time. After selling some fabric and making a new friend, I headed northeast into Ann Arbor, Michigan to get myself in place for a appointment to sell buttons on Thursday morning.  I arrived in Ann Arbor about 45 minutes prior to sundown. I quickly changed and set out from my hotel in order to get an urban hike under my belt which seemed 'critical' to me as I had skipped the day before. Most of my hike was in darkness. Armed with my Iprotec 500 lumen flashlight, I was able to continue until I had logged an 8 mile hike. I usually prefer to hike 10 miles, but I admit the hiking was less enjoyable in the darkness.

Sauder Village: Who We Are

Sauder Village is a nonprofit organization, home of Ohio’s largest living-history museum. The 235-acre complex offers a complement of food, lodging and retail services, making it an ideal destination for families, groups, small conferences and special events.
We are different than most organizations thanks to the original passion and dream of our founder, Erie Sauder who was a visionary leader. Erie established Sauder Village in 1976, not just to preserve the “things” from history, but more importantly to share the “stories” of every day people of the past. His respect and appreciation for his ancestors translated into a passion to ensure that people, and most specifically children, realize the ingenuity, hard work, sacrifice, and determination of those who came before us — and ultimately to inspire that same pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit in their lives today in hopes that they strive to make a positive difference in their world. This continues to serve as our core purpose.
