I am determined to return to the weight that I had earlier achieved during the 18 months since I stepped on a scale and 'discovered' that I was 309 lbs.
There is a part of me that is very disappointed that have tacked on about 20 pounds from my weight of 216 lbs which was achieved a few months back. When I start getting 'depressed' about this - I try to remember that this 'journey' began at 309 pounds. I need to remember from the beginning of this journey, I am still down 75 pounds. In that I am down 75 pounds from a trip that began 18 months ago - I have much to be proud about.
Still, I am mustering up the determination to continue. No different from anyone else, managing one's weight is a process that may have a beginning - but it does also have no end.
