IT'S A TWO PARTY SYSTEM

Tonight is the last day of the Republican National Convention.
Time for one of my periodic political rants today.
To use a phrase coined by Rush Limbaugh: 'I live in Realville.'
I can no longer consider who among all Americans I might like to support and vote for President.
I have to consider who I might vote for President only among the candidates who are on the ballot.
There are only two candidates with a chance to win all the marbles and become Commander in Chief.
Hillary Rodham Clinton (D)
Donald J Trump (R)
These two candidates have been described well by Dennis Prager.
One is a wolf in sheep's clothing, one is a sheep in wolf's clothing.
I will let you try to figure out which is which.
Do you need more time?
Time's up.
Hillary is the wolf.
Donald is the sheep.
There are only two choices.
I suppose a third choice is to sit out the election and withhold your vote.
Please understand that not making a choice, is not a thoughtful or intelligent decision.
It's a two party system - You have to vote for one of them.
The writers of The Simpsons came to this conclusion long ago.

No more 'lefties' running the show - Vote Trump
RANT OVER.... TIME TO REVIEW MY DAY IN OHIO.
I spent most of my day in Dayton, Ohio yesterday selling buttons at a couple of yarn stores. Once I was finished I had planned on a hike in a nearby forest reserve. As I began to leave the city I came upon a nice looking trail that was running alongside the MAD RIVER. I decided instead to stay within the boundary of Dayton and take a walk.  This particular walk was over when I had logged sixteen miles.

This fountain cannot compete with BUCKINGHAM FOUNTAIN in my hometown of Chicago... but, hey this is Dayton.  They are doing the best they can.

My hike took me past the United States Air Force Museum. I quickly entered the premises to snap this one photo with a couple of retired Air Force planes in the background.

.
The other memorable thing that I passed yesterday was The Huffman Dam.
