TIME COULD NOT WAIT

TIME (MAGAZINE) COULD NOT WAIT.  Our family made a quick stop at Walgreen's when I noticed that Time Magazine was already selling an issue with the cover story: HOW TRUMP WON.  This seemed a bit premature as the first primary taking place in Iowa is still one week away.  Iowa primaries have had some surprises in the past, so it might be just a bit worthwhile to let some voters vote before declaring the winner... I think they should have an issue devoted to how Team X won the Super Bowl (That would be a great public service to the gambling community.)  Anyone can devote a issue to this subject after the event - only real journalists (with an agenda) can do this before the event. (My belief is that since the liberal media senses that a Trump candidacy would be doomed to failure - they have every reason to prop him up.)  I admit this 'Trump' issue caught my eye - I didn't even know for sure that Time was still being published. It obviously won't be for too much longer. Perhaps I should have titled today's blog post: HOW TIME ENDED.

There have been a few times in history when the news media has been in such a hurry to announce results of an election that they dont quite get it right...

The conventional wisdom is that DONALD TRUMP in the general election is unelectable.
The conventional wisdom is that everyone (except conservatives) hate TED CRUZ therefore in the general election he is unelectable.
In a universe that made any sense, Hillary Clinton would be unelectable, although she appears to be indictable and possibly incarcerable.
In a universe that made any sense, Bernie Sanders would be unelectable, although he would be formidable if running somewhere like Venezuela.
.
If everyone is unelectable.... Someone who should be unelectable is going to be elected.
It will be an interesting year...
