INCOME TAX DAY

Today, April 15, 2016, I have chosen to provide the service of reminding all of my fellow Americans, as well as illegal and undocumented workers that today is the day that your 2015 Tax Returns are due with the Federal Government.  I urge you to pay your taxes as our government spends all of our money very judiciously. And if you believe that, I have a bridge that you might be interested in purchasing.

from wikipedia:

George C. Parker (1870–1936) was an American con man. He made his living conducting illegal sales of property he did not own, often New York's public landmarks, to unwary immigrants. The Brooklyn Bridge was the subject of several of his transactions, predicated on the notion of the buyer controlling access to the bridge. Police removed several of his victims from the bridge as they tried to erect toll booths.
Parker is remembered as one of the most successful con men in the history of the United States, as well as one of history's most talented hoaxers. His methods have passed into popular culture, giving rise to phrases such as "and if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you", a popular way of expressing a belief that someone is gullible.
