Six months ago I became a 'fitbitter'. The little device keeps a record of daily 'steps.' That is basically it. The thing has a big influence on me. Because of this device I like to walk more than ever. I was wondering. I often purposefully park as far away from the front door of a store as I possibly can just to log extra steps. How many steps have I logged in the first six months?
In the first six months that I have owned this device, which I purchased on September 3, 2015, I have logged just over 4.5 million steps. Fitbit has translated that number of steps into 2159.67 miles. I have nothing to compare this to, but I am completely convinced that this is the most active that I have ever been in my life. My guess is that I will improve on this total in the next six months. I will know the answer by September 3, 2016.
