Christmas is not my holiday as a Jewish guy. However, as an American, Christmas is indeed a National Holiday. So Merry Christmas everyone. In Chicago, and much of the country yesterday on Christmas Eve day, there was snow. So for many people, the dream of a White Christmas will come to fruition. Although the snow probably wasn't useful to the millions of Americans on the go yesterday trying to travel - the snow sure looked pretty.

| After walking so much on Saturday, I toyed with the idea of taking it easy on Sunday. Once I discovered that Chicago was covered in a blanket of snow, my enthusiasm for getting outside was renewed. So, dodging the snowflakes as the snow appeared to accumulate to about six inches, I managed to take a seven mile urban hike. |
