I find it so hard to believe that so many morally confused people are still so bent out of shape over the crude remarks made by Donald Trump in private more than a decade before he ran for President. Everyone who has feigned outrage over this has apparently never been near normal dumb guys saying normal dumb stuff. Saying something stupid, and talking about doing something stupid does not mean that you have done something stupid. The particularly sad thing about what Donald Trump said about grabbing women, has proven to be extremely true. Don't believe me, ask Harvey Weinstein. At least is has apparently been true for the past few decades. Rich and/or famous and/or powerful and/or wealthy people apparently have felt that you could do anything to a women. So the fact that Donald Trump said this does not mean that he did it. Are we all in agreement? But seriously, have you ever noticed how photogenic some of our national leaders are? The most recent example was provided by the (DIS)Honorable Senator from Minnesota, Al Franken on Thursday.

This was a particularly challenging week for weight management... It started last weekend with my 'all you can eat' sushi adventure. My gum surgery on Monday also put me 'off my game.' I ate a bit too much yogurt, cottage cheese and ice-cream as I was supposed to eat soft foods. The bottom line is that I went 2 pounds backwards this week. This upcoming week includes Thanksgiving which will present further challenges. I know that I can't walk enough to erase calories, but walking does mitigate some of the excesses at least a little bit - one hopes.
