The festival of Purim is celebrated every year on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Adar. It commemorates the salvation of the Jewish people in ancient Persia from Haman’s plot “to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews, young and old, infants and women, in a single day.”Haman's plot didn't work quite as planned. We Jews, are still here. At the conclusion of Purim we like to celebrate. My friends at my Chabad House know how to celebrate and we know how to have fun.
It's not everyday that you get your Rabbi to pose for a picture with you...
...wearing a PINK HAT.
PURIM IS ONE OF THOSE DAYS WHEN THIS IS POSSIBLE.
